Creating an attestation for a supplementary certificate

If an employee leaves the company, they must be issued with an attestation of the last valid supplementary certificate in accordance with Section 13 Paragraph 2. In RZBneo, issuing such an attestation is possible once the employee's supplementary certificate has been suspended. Therefore, first follow the steps for suspending a supplementary certificate.

You can then create the attestation for the supplementary certificate in the supplementary certificate table, in the corresponding register entry of the suspended supplementary certificate. To do this, click on .

In the input form that opens, you have the option of selecting the issuing organisational unit, entering an optional reference number, and selecting the attestation date. Then click on Create attestation to save the attestation.

💡 If you receive the error message This supplementary certificate already has an attestation on file. when trying to issue an attestation, then an attestation has already been issued for this supplementary certificate. There is therefore no need to generate a further attestation. You can find the existing attestation under the Supplementary certificate attestations menu item.

Retrieving an attestation for a supplementary certificate

You will find all issued attestations in the attestations for certificates table. Open this table to view and download an attestation. To do this, click on .

If an attestation is no longer needed, you can delete it by clicking on .
