Archiving employees

For train drivers who are no longer employed by the company, the corresponding date is entered in the Employed until field. As soon as this date is reached, the train driver's base data is moved to the archive. All records belonging to this train driver (base data in the train driver table, skills in the skills overview, deadlines in the deadline overview, documents in the documents table), with the exception of the data in the supplementary certificates table, are hidden.

You can access the archive by clicking on (below the train driver table) and leave it again via .

Data in the archive can still be edited; this also applies to an employee's skills, which can still be accessed via the base data editing form.

❗ The date in the "Employed until" field can only be entered under certain conditions, otherwise an error message will appear when attempting to save. In general: the departing employee must not hold a valid certification that is valid for longer than the end of employment.

Reactivating employees

Should a train driver return to the company, the base data record can be restored from the archive by deleting the end of employment date while the record is in the archive. This reactivates the record, and it becomes fully accessible again.
